About
A vigorous woodland perennial, up to 60cm high, with upright stems each bearing three broad, mottled green leaves. Flowers are upright, with narrow green petals sometimes touched with dark red at the base, and are nestled directly above the leaves in spring.

Care notes
CultivationThrives in deep, moist but well drained, humus rich soil in light shade, though will tolerate most soils and positions. Mulch annually in autumn, ideally with leaf mould. Ideal for woodland, or underplanting where they will not be overwhelmed by other plants. See trillium cultivation
