About
A strong, herbaceous perennial to 70cm tall, forming a clump of arching stems. In late summer and early autumn it produces airy clusters of mauve-flushed, white flowers with yellow throats. Large, glossy dark green leaves, to 30cm, clasp the stems at alternating intervals. Site in a woodland garden or shady border.
