Syringa tomentella, the felty lilac, is a bushy, deciduous shrub producing felty-hairy, ovate leaves and conical panicles of fragrant, pale lilac-pink flowers in early summer. An ornamental and distinctive lilac for a sunny or lightly shaded border.

About the genus

Taraxacum are a large genus of herbaceous perennial plants native to temperate areas of the Northern Hemisphere. Leaves are around 5 to 25cm long and the yellow to orange flower heads open during the day and close at night.
