About
This spreading, deciduous shrub with purplish young branches and dark green leaves, broad and narrowing to a tapering point, with good autumn colour. It bears particularly long (up to 23cm on mature plants), hanging racemes of 50-60 pale yellow cup-shaped flowers in late winter or early spring on bare branches.
