About
A small to medium-sized, deciduous tree up to 10m tall. Yellowish-green flowers borne in late spring are followed by speckled green fruits that ripen to brown. The leaves are folded along the midrib showing their white, downy undersides. Oval to elliptic leaves up to 15cm long emerge grey-green in spring, darkening to mid- to intense green before turning rich yellow in autumn.
