Sorbus hedlundii, the hedlund whitebeam, is a medium-sized, deciduous tree to 10�15 m producing very large, downy leaves to 25 cm with silvery-white undersides, white flower clusters in late spring and russet-brown to dull-yellow fruits. A handsome and rewarding ornamental whitebeam for a sunny, well-drained garden.
