About

A medium-sized, deciduous shrub to about 1.5m tall from the forests of Japan and Korea with broadly ovate, hairy, mid-green leaves and drooping racemes of small, white to pink, urn-shaped flowers in spring, followed by dark blue-black edible berries in late summer. A graceful, ornamental Vaccinium for shaded, moist, acidic woodland conditions.
