A delicate, tufted Primula from very high montane habitats in the eastern Himalaya with tiny, spoon-shaped, glandular, mid-green leaves and very short, single-flowered stems bearing tiny, pale pink or white flowers in spring. A miniature and demanding specialist for a cool, very well-drained alpine house.

Sinapidendron includes herbaceous and sometimes woody species grown for their ornamental merit. The genus is represented in gardens by selected species and cultivars suited to a range of growing conditions
