About

A compact perennial forming neat clumps of rounded to kidney-shaped mid green basal leaves. Flower spikes, to 35cm high, have dense, hollyhock-like, silky, pale-pink flowers with fringed petals and are borne from early to late summer.

Care notes

CultivationGrow in full sun in moderately fertile, humus-rich moist but well-drained neutral to slightly acid soil that does not become waterlogged in winter. Tolerant of a range of soil conditions but plants can be rather short-lived in heavy soils
