About

This erect, herbaceous perennial to 40cm tall, with ferny foliage. In spring it produces slender stems which bear airy clusters of pendent, purple-pink flowers to 1.5cm long.

Semiaquilegia are a genus of 7 small, sometimes short-lived perennials. They are similar to Aquilegia but have spurless flowers which are swollen at the base.
