About
Sedum palmeri is a spreading, perennial succulent with multiple, branching stems forming rosettes of fleshy, spoon-shaped, grey-green leaves with pointed tips flushing reddish-pink in strong light or cold. Yellow flowers are produced in clusters on short stems in spring. A beautiful and rewarding stonecrop for a sunny greenhouse bench or container.

CultivationUnder glass, grow in peat-free, loam-based compost with added perlite, positioning plants in bright, filtered light. Water freely in the growing season and apply a half-strength liquid fertiliser monthly; water sparingly in winter. Potted plants can be moved onto the patio in summer.
