About

A small to medium-sized, deciduous tree to about 8m from China with pinnate leaves of mid-green leaflets turning red and orange in autumn, and dense, rounded corymbs of white, five-petalled flowers in spring, followed by clusters of small, orange-red berries in autumn. A highly ornamental Sorbus for a sunny, well-drained, open border or small garden.
