About
Sedum humifusum is a mat-forming, evergreen, succulent perennial about 1 cm tall with creeping stems and tight rosettes of overlapping, mid-green leaves maturing to red. Solitary, terminal, bright-yellow flowers 9 mm across are produced in early summer. A charming and rewarding miniature stonecrop for a sunny, very well-drained alpine trough or container.

CultivationUnder glass, grow in peat-free, loam-based compost with added perlite, positioning plants in bright, filtered light. Water freely in the growing season and apply a half-strength liquid fertiliser monthly; water sparingly in winter. Potted plants can be moved onto the patio in summer.
