Sedum brevifolium, the short-leaved stonecrop, is a semi-evergreen, slowly spreading, mat-forming succulent to 10 cm with small, ovoid, pale-green leaves to 2 mm long on short, wiry stems, often tinged red and covered with a white bloom. Small, white flowers are borne in summer. A charming and rewarding stonecrop for a sunny, very well-drained rock garden or alpine trough.
