About
Saxifraga marginata, the Kabschia saxifrage, is a variable, sturdy, evergreen, cushion-forming perennial with columnar or large, open rosette shoots of spoon-shaped, grey-green, partially lime-encrusted leaves 812 mm long. Flowering stems to 1014 cm bear up to nine pure-white, cup-shaped flowers in early summer. A beautiful and rewarding cushion saxifrage for a sunny, very well-drained rock garden or alpine house.
