About
Saxifraga granulata, the meadow saxifrage, is a clump-forming, summer-dormant perennial to 35 cm with kidney-shaped, glossy, scallop-edged leaves to 3 cm long. Sticky, upright stems carry clusters of rounded, white flowers about 1.5 cm across in late spring. A beautiful and rewarding native meadow plant for a sunny, well-drained border or wildflower garden.
