Saxifraga bronchialis (10) is an evergreen perennial rock plant forming a dense mat of fleshy, dark-green leaves, varying from narrow and pointed to softly hairy and rounded. Ornamental, cream flowers spotted with red, yellow or purple appear from June through to August. A rewarding and ornamental alpine for a sunny, well-drained rock garden.
