About

Sansevieria cylindrica, the cylindrical mother-in-law's tongue, is an evergreen, rhizomatous perennial to 1.2 m with 3�4 tubular, fleshy, dark-green leaves 3 cm thick, cross-banded with paler green, arising from a basal rosette. Erect flower spikes occasionally bear 6-lobed, pink or greenish-white, scented flowers. A striking and architectural houseplant for a sunny windowsill or conservatory.

Sansevieria are stemless, erect, rhizomatous, succulent perennials with evergreen, ovate or strap-shaped, leathery leaves often attractively marbled, and short spikes of small, fragrant, tubular, greenish-white flowers. Excellent and easy-care houseplants tolerating low light and neglect.
