About

Salvia buchananii, Buchanan's sage, is a woody-based, stoloniferous perennial to 60 cm with leathery, glossy, lance-shaped leaves and loose racemes of hairy, two-lipped, tubular, rosy-purple flowers to 5 cm long. A rewarding and ornamental sage for a sunny, well-drained border or heated conservatory.

CultivationGrow under glass in peat-free potting compost in full light with shade from hot sun.
