About

A naturally occurring hybrid between the eared willow and the dwarf willow, forming a very low, spreading, deciduous, mat-forming shrublet with small, rounded, slightly hairy leaves and small, silvery male catkins in spring. A choice miniature willow for a cool, moist, well-drained rock garden or peat bed.

About the genus
