Rubus biflorus, the two-flowered raspberry, is a suckering, deciduous shrub to 3 m with erect, prickly, white-bloomed canes that are most ornamental in winter. Leaves are pinnate with white undersides; white flowers 2.5 cm across in summer may be followed by yellow fruit. A striking and architectural winter-stem shrub for a sheltered garden.
