About
Rosa 'Prima Ballerina' (HT) is a bushy, upright hybrid tea rose to about 1 m with healthy, dark-green, glossy foliage and strongly scented, shapely, fully double, deep-pink blooms from summer into autumn. A classic and popular hybrid tea for a sunny, well-drained border.
About the genus
Rosa, the roses, are deciduous or semi-evergreen shrubs and scrambling climbers with usually thorny stems bearing pinnate leaves and solitary or clustered, five-petalled flowers in a vast range of colours and forms in summer, often followed by showy red, orange or purple hips. Indispensable garden plants for a sunny, well-drained position.

Care notes
CultivationGrows best in fertile, humus-rich, moist but well-drained soil in a sunny, open position. Mulch in late winter and, to improve flowering, apply a balanced fertiliser in late winter or early spring and again in early summer. See rose cultivation
