About
A compact, tufted perennial forming low rosettes of narrow, hairy, mid-green leaves and short, erect stems bearing small, white, five-petalled, notched flowers in summer. A delicate subspecies of S. radicosa from the Balkans (named after Austrian botanist Rechinger), suited to a sunny, sharply drained rock garden or alpine trough.
