About
A robust, deciduous sub-shrub to about 1m tall from the eastern Mediterranean and central Asia, with small, paired, bright green, broadly obovate leaflets and upright clusters of small, white, four-petalled flowers in summer, followed by distinctive winged seed capsules. An unusual ornamental for a dry, sunny, well-drained border or gravel garden.
