Rhipsalis baccifera, the mistletoe cactus, is a widely distributed, pendant, epiphytic cactus producing masses of slender, cylindrical, pale-green, leafless stems to 60 cm or more and tiny, greenish-white flowers followed by translucent white berries. An ornamental and easy-care cactus for a shaded, humid, hanging basket or greenhouse.

Care notes

CultivationGrow under glass in an epiphytic cactus compost, in bright indirect light with high humidity. Mist daily with soft water. Water moderately when in growth and apply a dilute low nitrogen fertilizer monthly. Keep just moist in winter. See houseplant cacti and succulent cultivation
