About
Ranunculus bulbosus, the bulbous buttercup, is a clump-forming, hairy, sometimes semi-evergreen perennial to 40 cm with a swollen stem base and three-lobed, dark-green leaves. From late spring to early summer it produces finely branched stems bearing saucer-shaped, shiny, golden-yellow flowers. A common and rewarding native wildflower for a sunny, well-drained meadow or border.
