White to pale lavender-purple flowers with purple spots appear in summer. A hardy, upright, clump-forming rhizomatous perennial with lance-shaped, pointed, softly hairy, aromatic grey-green foliage. Does not spread as rapidly as other varieties. Loved by bees.
