About
Small winged green fruits are produced on pendant spikes, up to 30 cm long, in summer. A large tree with a broad ovoid crown. The leaves consist of between13-23 leaf segments. Each leaf segment is very deeply dissected giving the leaf its characteristic fern-like appearance. The bark is often fissured and grey-brown in colour.
