A cultivar of Anthyllis montana with unusually rich carmine-red (Carminea) flowers instead of the typical pink-purple, borne in dense, rounded heads above a mat of silvery-grey, pinnate leaves on a compact, spreading perennial. A vivid alpine for a well-drained, sunny rock garden or raised bed.
