About

Primula auricula L. (Au), the auricula, is an evergreen perennial forming a rosette of obovate, sometimes mealy, pale-green leaves. Perfumed, mealy-centred, bright-yellow flowers 1.5�2.5 cm across are carried in umbels on stems to 20 cm. The parent of the huge range of auricula cultivars � an outstanding alpine perennial for a well-drained, shaded or partially shaded position.
