Potentilla erecta, tormentil, is a creeping, clump-forming perennial wildflower with deeply cut, green leaves that hug the ground. Bright-yellow, four-petalled flowers are borne on long, slender stalks up to 60 cm high from May to October. A charming native wildflower for a sunny, moist, well-drained meadow or border.
