Podocarpus henkelii, the falcate yellow-wood, is a tall, compact, evergreen conifer to around 6 m in cultivation with a long trunk and very long, narrow, willow-like, glossy, dark-green, drooping foliage. An elegant and architectural podocarp for a sheltered, mild garden.

Podocarpus are evergreen shrubs or trees with spirally arranged, often two-ranked, linear or lance-shaped leaves and fleshy, plum-shaped fruits on female plants. A large genus of conifers from the Southern Hemisphere, grown as ornamental specimen plants.
