About
A low-spreading evergreen conifer which provides year-round interest. Creamy-yellow leaves appear from red shoots in the spring. These change to pink, green then bronze as the year progresses. Flowers are inconspicuous in the summer and followed by bright red fruit.

Podocarpus can be evergreen shrubs or trees, with spirally arranged, but usually 2-ranked, leaves which may be linear or narrowly lanceolate; plum-shaped fleshy fruits are produced only where male and female trees grow together
