Plectranthus verticillatus, Swedish ivy, is a prostrate, evergreen perennial forming a trailing mat to 10 cm tall with rounded, coarsely toothed, bright-green leaves purple beneath. Loose spikes of purple-dotted, white flowers to 2 cm long are produced in summer. An ornamental and easy-care trailing plant for a container, hanging basket or windowsill.
