About
Pinus thunbergii 'Oculus-draconis', the dragon's eye Japanese black pine, is a cultivar producing the characteristic paired, dark-green needles of the species marked with yellow bands that, when seen from the end of a shoot, create a pattern resembling a dragon's eye. An ornamental and unusual pine for a well-drained, sunny garden.
