About
A very vigorous, trailing and spreading floriferous tender perennial usually grown as seasonal bedding or a patio plant. It has oval shaped, sticky and hairy mid-green leaves and produces gramophone-trumpet-shaped, bright red flowers around 5-6 cm across. Blooms from late spring well into autumn if dead-headed and well fed. It trails or spreads around 50 - 70 cm so is ideal for large hanging baskets and big balcony containers, or as ground cover in sunny, warm, well-drained locations.
