A vigorous, trailing and slightly mounding, early flowering variety of this popular tender perennial, usually grown as seasonal bedding or a patio plant. It blooms from late spring into autumn. The plant can reach a height of 20-30cm and has oval-shaped, sticky and hairy mid-green leaves and produces striking, velvety, gramophone-trumpet-shaped, rich red flowers that are around 5.5cm across. It trails or spreads around 30 cm to 40 cm so is ideal for hanging baskets and containers and as seasonal ground cover in very sunny, warm, well-drained spots .
