About
An upright biennial to about 60cm, with aromatic, flat, dark-green divided leaves. In its second year small umbels of white cream flowers are produced in the summer. The flavour is stronger than some of the curled varieties so some prefer to use it in cooking as opposed to as a garnish.

Care notes
CultivationGrow in fertile, moist, but well-drained soil in full sun or partial shade. Normally grown as an annual it can be overwintered although leaves become coarser in the second year. See parsley cultivation for further advice.
