Petrocoptis pyrenaica subsp. glaucifolia is a glaucous-leaved Pyrenean petrocoptis producing the characteristic cushions of grey-green foliage and white or pink flowers of the genus. A rewarding alpine for a sunny, very well-drained rock crevice or raised bed.

About the genus

Petrocoptis are tufted or cushion-forming perennials from the Iberian Peninsula with glaucous, leathery leaves and white to pink, five-petalled flowers in summer. Grown in sunny, very well-drained rock gardens and screes.
