About
Periploca graeca, the silk vine, is a vigorous, twining, deciduous climber with oval, waxy, glossy leaves. Clusters of small, intricate, star-shaped flowers � purplish inside, pale green outside � are produced in summer. The oval pods split to reveal fluffy, silky seeds. Cut stems exude milky sap. A bold and ornamental climber for a sheltered, sunny wall or fence.
