About
Tubular-shaped purple-blue flowers with white throats appear from spring through to the autumn. A rarely offered, unusually hardy, dwarf perennial with trailing, lance-shaped grey-green foliage which turns reddish-bronze in the autumn. Great for rockeries and containers.

Care notes
CultivationGrow in fertile, well-drained soil in full sun or partial shade. In cold areas, protect plant overwinter with a dry winter mulch. See penstemon cultivation for further advice
PruningDeadhead after flowering to maintain vigour and prolong flowering, then cut back to 15cm in late winter or early spring
