A bushy, evergreen, clump-forming perennial with large green, strap-shaped foliage. Upright spikes of large, long-lasting tubular carmine-red flowers with dark burgundy-red throats appear from July through to September.

PruningDeadhead after flowering to maintain vigour and prolong flowering, then cut back to 15cm in late winter or early spring
