About
A compact perennial to around 80cm with dark green foliage. Single, cactus-style dark pink flowers, streaked with darker rose-pink, cream and green with yellow stamens, appear in late spring to early summer.

CultivationBest in a deep, fertile, humus-rich soil that is moist but well-drained in a sheltered position in full sun or partial shade. May need support (see staking perennials). See herbaceous peony cultivation
