A large, evergreen, self-clinging climber from the Trabzon area of Turkey, a geographically distinctive form of Persian ivy with very large, broadly ovate, dark green, glossy, heart-shaped leaves and creamy-white flowers in autumn. A bold, architectural ivy for covering walls, banks or pergolas in a sheltered, mild position.
