About
Osmanthus delavayi, Delavay osmanthus, is a dense, rather slow-growing, medium-sized evergreen shrub with rounded or ovate, dark-green leaves to 2.5 cm long. In spring it smothers itself in small, highly fragrant, white tubular flowers in clusters, followed by small, blue-black berries. One of the finest and most fragrant of all spring-flowering shrubs for a sheltered, sunny garden.
