About
Origanum majorana, sweet marjoram, is an upright, tender perennial subshrub to 50 cm, often grown as an annual, with aromatic, oval, softly hairy, edible, grey-green leaves 1.5 cm long. Small, tubular, white flowers are held on wiry, feather-like stems in summer. One of the most prized of all culinary herbs for its sweet, warm, aromatic flavour � excellent in a sunny herb garden or container.
