About
Nepenthes rajah, the king monkey cup, is one of the largest of all pitcher plants from Borneo, producing enormous, barrel-shaped pitchers to 35 cm or more tall that can hold up to 3.5 litres of digestive fluid. A spectacular and highly sought-after species for a cool to intermediate, very humid, heated greenhouse.

Nepenthes, the tropical pitcher plants, are evergreen, mostly epiphytic, insectivorous perennials producing leaves adapted to form pendant, lidded pitchers that trap and digest insects. Grown in warm, humid heated greenhouses and terrariums.
