About

A clump-forming perennial from Japan to about 50cm with lance-shaped, glossy, fresh green leaves that turn soft golden-yellow in autumn, and open, star-shaped, pale blue flowers borne in branched panicles in late spring and early summer. A graceful, long-lived perennial for a sunny or lightly shaded, moist border with good autumn colour.
