About
A fast-growing, mulit-stemmed, deciduous shrub to around 4m in height with dark green foliage, turning copper-bronze in the autumn. Pink buds in spring open to perfumed, double, white, rose-shaped flowers, followed by ornamental green fruit in autumn.

CultivationGrow in moist but well-drained neutral to acid soil in full sun or partial shade with shelter from cold winds. Flowers may be damaged by late frosts. Will grow in moist alkaline soils. See magnolia cultivation for further advice
