Broad, spreading, open tree about 8-10m tall, with mid-green leaves. perfumed, goblet shaped flowers to 20cm across, appearing with the leaves in mid-spring, are green in bud opening to greenish-yellow, becoming chartreuse yellow then fading to creamy white with age.
